A collective research project towards recyclable food packaging film
The “Collective research project recyclable food packaging film – Reflex”, initiated by science and industry, funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency, supports goals of recyclability improvements for food packaging. The redesign of multilayer flexibles in high barrier applications is focus of the project. Coated mono-material should offer solutions besides the hardly recyclable but often necessary combinations of mainly polymers, paper and aluminium.
